Important Changes To Facebook Fan Pages

Recently Facebook added something to pages that you might have noticed. They put a "Promote" button on each of your posts. If you click on it you will see that if you pay Facebook about $10 per every 1000 fans you have they will put the post in their feed even if they are not subscribed to you. I, along with many others, am not too happy about this change.

Facebook already charges me to get more fans and now they want to charge me to share posts with them? I don't think so. This change came about the same time as Facebook going public. It looks like just another way to increase the profits of the owners at the expense of small business owners. I am working on some work arounds for this for all of you and will get back to you when I have a viable solution.

In the meantime, please feel free to take the above image and save it to your computer and post it on your Facebook page. Let your fans know that they may be missing out on specials and sales.
